About the House ofAgar
Agar was imported to us from Slovakia and now resides in Western Pennsylvania with our family in a suburban community. Tom Pohranicni Straze is Agar’s father and he is proven to produce stable nerves, exceptional temperament, and great drives. This has been found to be the case in Agar’s genetics. He is the perfect product of what a true German Shepherd should be.
In the home Agar is on patrol 24/7. He is very calm in every day life. Our home is very busy. Children come and go throughout the day, visitor’s are almost a daily occurrence. Agar welcomes our company when they have been invited into our home. He tends to have a high level of suspicion when it comes to people interacting closely with the children. He will always lay close enough to be certain they are safe. However, when he is “working” or training Agar’s true abilities come to light in a different atmosphere. When the battle is on Agar brings everything he has to win the war. He will not give up the fight and is fully confident. His grips are hard and with full bites. This dog is very easy to work with since he is handler sensitive thus making it an enjoyable experience to train in the sport.
We are delighted to have him as a member of our family and look forward to many many years with him. In the future we hope to see his current litters producing equally as well with their working abilities and temperament. Agar is an asset to us, and we believe that you would agree, he’d be an asset to your breeding program as well.
